Sanitary Rotary Valve

The basic operation is the same as a general-purpose rotary valve, but the sanitary rotary valve devises a door opening/closing structure that allows easy access to the inside. In equipment with a high frequency of internal checks, such as routine inspections, it is designed so that safe work can be carried out without burdening workers.

Feature of Sanitary Rotary Valve:

- Quick and easy disassembly and assembly to reduce washing time
- Wide range of products from 80 to 300 mm in caliber

- Round flange and rectangular flange types for the valve of each caliber
- Standard type directly connected to a geared motor for PL measures (Chain-driven type also available)
- Special specifications based on wealth of experience and techniques accumulated in supplying 5,000 valves in total
- Supports GMP, HACCP, and CIP

Internal Structure and Principle:
  • Structure: This device consists of a horizontal cylinder case with a Rotor inserted inside, which is driven by a motor.
  • Material Feeding: Powder or granular materials are filled from the top of the valve into the pockets of the rotor.
  • Material Discharge: When the motor drives the rotor to spin, the material contained within the rotor's pockets is moved downward and discharged or fed out by gravity.
  • Control: The material supply stops when the rotor stops spinning and starts when the rotor starts spinning. The speed of material feeding can be controlled by using a variable-speed motor
